Continue your recovery and maintain progress between one-on-one physical therapy appointments.
At Body Mechanics, home exercise is an important extension of your care—not a generic routine handed to you at the end of an appointment. We provide simple but impactful exercises that help you continue your recovery and maintain progress between appointments.
Our physical therapists combine specific, prescriptive exercise with hands-on manual treatment, movement training, and education. The goal is to help you regain control of your body and remove obstacles from your work, play, and fitness program.
Whether you are recovering from an injury or surgery, managing neck or back pain, returning to a sport, or trying to move more comfortably in daily life, your program is tailored to your specific concerns.
1
We are careful to prescribe only 2–4 exercises using simple equipment. Your program is built to be realistic, effective, and easy to fit into daily life.
2
Exercises are selected to address your unique symptoms, movement limitations, strength, coordination, and balance needs—not a one-size-fits-all list.

Consistency is most important and can make or break the success of treating your problem. We give you practical tools to stay pain-free now and in the future.
Your first visit begins with a detailed interview and a full-body evaluation of posture and functional movement related to your concerns. Your physical therapist uses this information—along with hands-on assessment and treatment—to identify a path toward progress.
You will receive initial home exercises to supplement treatment, plus education on optimal posture and movement strategies and self-care measures. As you improve, your therapist can progress your exercises so they continue to support your recovery and return to the activities that matter to you.
At Body Mechanics, you work one-on-one with the same therapist during 30–60 minute sessions. This focused attention helps your therapist adapt your plan to your lifestyle and goals.
Home exercise programs work alongside the skilled treatment and training you receive in the clinic. Explore other ways Body Mechanics helps you feel better, move better, and perform better.
